It’s a physical space curated in response to the ever present digital world, rise in living costs and challenges that grass root artists face, creating a space that encourages interaction of the work exhibited. The Z1NE Shop has a collection of zines submitted from over 30 artists across the UK. Consisting of a range of subjects, the zines cover topics including: politics, creative writing, travel, poetry, fine art, print making, comic, illustration & more.
The pop-up approach allows the Z1NE Shop to constantly evolve its identity according to the space it fills, giving it versatility to experiement in how it engages an audience and offers the opportunity to curate other artistic mediums alongside the zines.
